Arrangement of cards

This solitaire game can look like anything - for children and adult players they differ mainly in the “backs” of the cards. Now let's talk about how cards are placed on the virtual table.

There are 52 cards involved.
There are 28 cards placed in 7 columns, increasing the number of pictures in each subsequent one by one. That is, if the first one has 1 card, the second one has two, the third one has three, then the rest is similar.
The cards are turned upside down - they are closed, and you cannot see what the layout is, and only the last one in each column is open and available for action.
There are four empty base areas at the top of the screen - one for each suit. Here you have to put cards in ascending order, starting with the ace, then a two is placed on it, then a three, and when you get to the king, this suit will be completely collected. So you have to collect all four cells.

On the left, the remaining cards are stacked, and by clicking the mouse you open one or three cards, depending on your choice in the settings or the online solitaire game offered on the site.

Gameplay Basics

Cards in columns can be moved, stacked in descending order: king, queen, jack up to two. But for a move to be possible, the black and red suits must alternate - if the king is black (spades or crosses), then the queen must certainly be red (diamonds or hearts).
When one of the cells becomes empty, you can move the king there with one card or together with the collected column. Spider solitaire allows you to cancel your last move if you didn’t like the one that was revealed from the previously closed cards, and you have another option. When it is no longer possible to manipulate the cards in the columns, flip over the cards in the extra deck at the top of the screen. From here you can remove the top image that opens and move it to the base zone or distribute it across columns.
Once you scroll to the end of the auxiliary deck, the next press will return it to its original position. The more cards you take from it, the better it will be shuffled next time. In simple levels, you can use this stack endlessly; in more complex versions, this opportunity is available in limited quantities, so try to carefully monitor the available moves, using every chance for action.

About Solitaire

Klondike (or "Klondike") - antique card solitaire. Played with one deck of 52 cards.

Rules

28 cards from the deck are laid out in seven columns: one card in the first column, two in the second, etc. All cards in each column, except the top one, are placed face down. The remaining deck can be dealt either one or three cards at a time, depending on the selected game parameters. (If three cards are dealt, then only the top of the three will be available to the player.)

The goal of the game is to arrange the cards by suit in order from Ace to King into four piles ("house"). In each of the four piles into which all the cards must be laid out, an ace is first placed, then a two, a three, and so on until the king.

It is allowed to move one card or pile (cards arranged in descending order, with adjacent cards having different colors) from a column or available card from the deck to another column - to the next highest card of a different color. For example, 9 hearts or 9 diamonds can only be placed on 10 spades or 10 clubs.
You can remove cards from the house into columns using a similar principle.
Only kings or stacks built on kings can be moved to the empty columns formed during the process of solving solitaire.

You should play any 1 card in front of the Ace (above the Ace). Then after a full scroll the ace will come out.

If you play 2 cards in front of the ace, the ace will be in the middle after scrolling, if 3 cards - nothing will change, 4 played cards are equivalent to one, 5 - two, etc. That is, the correct strategy is not to play all possible moves in a row, but to display the cards you need in the right sequence. This is especially important to remember in complex hands.

Move backward, Move forward(also the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard) allow you to move forward and backward through your solution, all the way back to the beginning.

New game - start a new game. By pressing the “New Game” key again, you can scroll through the games and select the layout you like. Using the “up arrow” and “down arrow” keys on the keyboard, you can move along the proposed layouts. The history of your games will only include those hands that you started playing (that is, you made at least one move).

Special move- this is an accelerated movement back to the right moment. Allows you to quickly find the place where you may have made a mistake. By clicking the “Special Move” button, you select any card on the table and click on it. The computer returns you to the original position of this card, i.e. by the time you made the first move with this card (if nothing happens, it means that this card has not yet been moved by you). To exit the “Special move” mode, press the “ESC” button or press the “Special move” button again.

After taking a special move, you can scroll through your decision using the “Move forward” and “Move backward” buttons. Until you have made a new move, you have the opportunity to cancel a special move by clicking the “Cancel Special Move” button (in place of the “Special Move” button).

Possible moves- turn on the backlight yellow cards with which you can make a move. This does not mean that you should make this particular move, the decision is yours. When playing correctly, you do not make all your moves in a row, but follow your own strategy.

You can turn off this mode by pressing the “Possible moves” button again.

Information on the playing field

At the top is a list of your attempts, with the ability to return to each of them. The large number indicates the number of the current attempt. Solved ones are marked in red. To move on to another attempt, you can click on its number. When you return to an unresolved layout, you will see last position kart. In the solved ones, you can view your solution using the “Move forward” and “Move backward” buttons.

Below the list of attempts there is information about the layout:

Layout number ( 999 ).
Layout rating ( rate 1:38) - the average time spent on solving this layout by all players, the number of solvers out of those who solved this layout.
Number of moves in the current attempt ( moves 51).
Current time of last attempt ( time 2:41). If within 15 seconds you have not made a single move (for example, you were distracted from the game), time stops. Stopped time is highlighted blue. Any move made restarts the clock.
Total time of all attempts ( total time 4:30).

The green dot in the lower right corner means you have an Internet connection, the red dot means you don't. If there is no Internet, you will be able to finish the layout, but it will not be saved in your history and will not participate in the ranking if the Internet does not appear while you are deciding the layout.

Mark map- ability to mark any card. You can remove the mark by clicking on the card again in the “Mark card” mode.

Settings- opens a settings window in which you can:

Choose a solitaire option: “one card each” or “three cards each”;
Select the order of new layouts: “play in random order” - when you press the “New game” button, a random layout by number will be loaded, in the “play in a row” mode, the next layout by serial number will be loaded;
Enable the “only hands that I haven’t solved” mode. You will be given layouts in a row by number or in random order, taking into account this mode;
Go to a specific layout by entering its number in the “enter layout number” field;
Select the complexity category of the layouts;
Change the design theme.

A list of players ordered by the number of solved hands. For each player, the date of his registration, the total number of started hands and the number of solved hands, the percentage of solved hands and the number of first places by solution time are indicated.

In your personal account you can indicate additional information about yourself, upload a photo, change your password, and also store and carry out personal correspondence with other registered players.

You can play without registering as a guest. After registration and/or authorization you will have access to personal account and you will be able to send private messages to other players.

To register, you just need to enter a name (at least 3 characters) and a password (at least 5 characters). If such a name is already registered in the game, you will have to choose another one.

Rules for playing Solitaire "Klondike"

The simplified version is extremely easy to play. When opening the game page, the player is presented with a layout that needs to be assembled. The rules of the game fully correspond to the classic version.

Testing your logical thinking is extremely simple - the game is freely available, without registration. There is no need to waste time filling out special forms and authorization; all formalities are kept to a minimum.

The rules of the game are standard. When laying out the cards, you should pay attention to the clock located in the lower central part of the screen - it marks the time spent by the player on each game. Statistics are not calculated, and it is impossible to view your previous results.

In the upper right section of the game screen there are four places for piles, sorted by suit. Aces must be placed in them first (“it will be impossible to place a card out of turn”), then twos, threes, and then in ascending order.

At the bottom of the screen there are 7 stacks of cards that need to be transferred among themselves according to the principle “from least to highest”, alternating dark and light suits. For example, the five of hearts can be determined on top of the six of either spades or clubs.

In the upper left corner there is a stack of cards from which you can draw cards as needed. If free space appears on the playing field in place of one of the seven piles, cards from any pile can be moved there, but only if the set begins with a king. One king is allowed to move.
